Foods Recommended for Women and Men’s Health

It is important for women to pay special attention to the food that they eat and to maintain a healthy diet, especially during child bearing years and when they are elderly. Here are three kinds of nutritious food that are recommended for women to maintain good health.

Brown sugar

Every morning, it’s good for one’s health to have a cup of tea with a small amount of dark brown sugar. Dark brown sugar aids digestion. Specifically, it helps to maintain good blood circulation, eliminates waste in your bowels, and relieves stomach discomfort.

Red dates

According to traditional Chinese medicine, red dates can help keep you looking healthy and protect you from winter colds. They are often taken if a woman has lost a large amount of blood during childbirth. Red dates are often used as an added ingredient in porridge.

Wolfberries

Wolfberries (also known as goji berries) are good for your eyes and can help you feel energetic. They are used widely for making desserts, soups, and porridges.

A nutritionist mentioned that a healthy diet can be a warranty for men’s youthfulness, vitality, and strength. Here are three food recommendations for men:

Whole wheat bread

To relieve stress, the vitamin B complex found in whole wheat bread is crucial in stabilizing the nervous system and supporting men’s metabolism.

Seafood

A zinc deficiency in a man’s body will affect the number and quality of sperm cells. Seafood, such as oysters, shrimp, and crab, are all rich in zinc, which can aid men’s potency.

Green tea

Green tea is rich in glutamic acid for a youthful appearance, aspartic acid for improving one’s immunity, and amino acids for stress relief. Green tea also contains flavonoids, which can be helpful when trying to maintain one’s blood pressure.
