Trouble in Old Jerusalem (Video)

Trouble is brewing again in Jerusalem, a holy city for not only Judaism but for Islam and Christianity as well.

In the video above BBC speaks with Mark Regev the chief spokesman for the Prime Minister of Israel amid tension following the shooting of a Jewish activist who crusaded for greater Jewish prayer rights at the Temple Mount (al-Haram al-Sharif).

Situated in the heart of Jerusalem’s old city, Temple Mount is considered very important to both Judaism and Islam but Jews are restricted in their worship so to avoid inflaming tensions.

It is considered Judaism’s holiest of sites and for Muslims it is their third.

Jews pray at the Western Wall, as known as the Wailing Wall, which is located on the western side of the Temple Mount.

Let’s hope things calm down in the ancient city.
