Ebola Claims First Victim in U.S. (Video)

Ebola sufferer Thomas Eric Duncan died on Wednesday morning in the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas.

Mr. Duncan is the first person to die of the dangerous virus in the U.S.

Forty-two-year-old Mr. Duncan is a Liberian citizen who came to Texas to visit his 19-year-old son last month.

Not long after his arrival, he was admitted to hospital, and was kept in an isolation ward.

Liberia is one of three West African nations that have been hardest hit by the dangerous virus. The other two are Guinea and Sierra Leone. Ebola has killed over 3,400 people in these nations.
