WATCH: Hundreds Run Up Tallest Building in Beijing

The China World Summit Wing Hotel saw around 600 runners race to the top as part of the 2014 Vertical World Circuit on Sept. 7.

The event started in the lobby, with competitors climbing 82 floors, and 2,041 steps to reach the end.

It’s an official stop on the circuit, which includes the Empire State Building Run-Up in New York City.
