Vitamins: How They Nourish You and Where to Find Them (Infographic)

Having a healthy diet means eating the foods that will provide you with all the essential nutrients your body needs to be in a healthy state.

Vitamins are part of these nutrients, and their role in your health is of course vital. Knowing where to find them may be the difference between a healthy-happy you, or a tired-moody you.

Some argue whether it’s possible to get all the nutrients we need only through diet, or if dietary supplements, a.k.a. synthetic vitamins, are needed. Others, such as Scienceblogs.com, state: “If you eat a well-rounded diet, you don’t need vitamin supplementation.”

In the end, the choice is yours to make. In my case, I prefer to follow the most organic and less industrialized way of life, and that includes my diet.

This is why this infographic will be my new best friend next time I am planning my weekly menu.
