Passengers Give Jet Plane a Push Before Takeoff in Siberia (Video)

In the above video watch Russian passengers give their stuck jet plane a push after below freezing conditions had frozen its break pads.

According to The New York Times the Tupolev-134 passenger jet was attempting to take off from the Siberian town of Igarka but the 44 degrees below zero Celsius (47 below zero Fahrenheit) temperature proved too much.

But seems like there’s nothing stopping those hardy Russians from getting out there and offering a helping hand.

Despite the conditions, the plane eventually was able to take off.

The airstrip is 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle.
