New York Has First Case of Ebola (Video)

New York has had its first confirmed case of Ebola, with a doctor from Doctors Without Borders being diagnosed with the deadly disease.

Thirty three year old Dr. Craig Spencer recently returned to New York City after treating Ebola victims in the West African nation of  Guinea reports Reuters. 

After experiencing a fever and gastrointestinal symptoms, Dr. Spencer tested positive for the virus.

He is currently being treated in isolation at the Bellevue Hospital.

So far there have been nine cases of Ebola in the U.S. since August.

The above New York Post video shows police vehicles chaperoning Dr. Spencer’s ambulance through New York City on Thursday.
