Panda Xue Xue Begins Her Journey of Survival (Video)

A 2-year-old panda raised in captivity was set free on Oct. 14, and started her life in the wild in the Liziping Natural Reserve.

Called Xue Xue, she’s the fourth artificially bred panda to be released in Sichuan Province, and received special training to find food and water, as well as avoid predators.

The young bear was reluctant to leave at first, but maybe the two fake pandas made her feel more relaxed about her new home!
