27 Beloved Movies that got Wacky Titles for Asian Release

Why do they have to ruin my favorite films with weird title translations? It’s kind of funny, but I have to wonder: Do they really make the title more appealing for an Asian audience?

Would Chinese moviegoers really run out to see Six Naked Pigs instead of The Full Monty? It’s too straightforward. I mean, they’ve removed the mystery. At least with a title like The Full Monty you’d want to know what the heck that means, and you would have sat through a movie about six naked pigs just to learn what that meant.
