Stabbing Curse Continues in China: Deadly Knife Attack in Jilin Province

Two people died and 14 were injured in a mass stabbing attack at Jinhua Mall in downtown Yanji City on the afternoon of August 17.

The Beijing Times reported that the incident happened on the third floor of the mall, and a suspect was arrested at the scene, as seen in this video.

Surnamed Choi, he is a 25-year-old Korean, who have been living locally, according to state broadcaster CCTV. The case is still under investigation.

Yanbian Hospital and other hospitals have been receiving a number of wounded. By now, it has been reported that fourteen people were injured in the incident, one people died on the spot, and one people died in the hospital rescue.
